A nice relaxing weekend ahead. But first to drop off the Mercedes C Convertible part exchange to Mercedes Aylesbury.

Then collect my BMW with it's new MOT and rear shock absorbers. A couple of advisories for rear disc brake wear, a brake pipe being covered in dirt and strangely a minor oil leak. That they couldn't actually tell me where from. But not dripping on the ground just very minor.

Back home until later. When I had to collect a car for delivery on Monday. An MG ZS petrol, thankfully as they always forget to charge EV's

I received a call before I went to collect saying that the customer now wants delivery on Wednesday. So as the customer is always right! I moved stuff around and fitted it in.

I still needed to collect the car as it was month end.

I left home around 4pm to collect it. Arriving there and finding the car still on the forecourt always registers concern.

I got the keys and sure enough. There was an tyre pressure warning light on and actually an engine light too.

I know how to deal with this so, I told the salesman to say the customer took the car and the lights came on so she brought it back immediately.

The point being that at months end. All sold and invoiced cars have to be off site.

This is the one exception. When they go wrong on handover.

MG ZS not collected!
MG ZS not collected!

I will come back on Tuesday evening and collect after the technician checks it. And delivery on Wednesday as the customer demands.

Can I have a weekend off now please?
