I was going to have today a working from home day. I had two jobs on Monday From Bicester to Norwich. Back to London in the train to collect a Mercedes S500 going to Leighton Buzzard prep centre.
I decided, however to make Monday a little easier by collecting the car from Bicester today.
So I made my way early to Bicester station. A place I try to avoid normally due to the usually loaded trains of Bicester Village shoppers carrier bags of designer gear usually bigger than themselves.
But today being early. And The shopping centre not open yet. I got off at the station and was able to walk through the carpark to in the direction of the dealership alone. Not one Mercedes in sight. The car of choice for the Middle Eastern and Chinese regulars at Bicester Village.
I was going to collect a 2012 Hyundai I35 from the Kia Dealership there. A 20 minutes walk from the station. Walking a route determined by Google maps. It took me from the station down into the Bicester Village car park for some reason and out a side entrance onto a street I'm sure the regulars here don't see. Quite a run down small industrial street with some broken down garages and buildings.

Just not what I expected to see this close to a designer outlet . Maybe I'm exaggerating a touch. The walk was very uninteresting.
I was just glad to be out of the area of the shops.
So I arrived at the small Kia site and one of the service team tried to locate a member of the sales to help.
I had to wait a little time because they were busy with customers early. But someone eventually dealt with me and went to find the car for me.
When it arrived the condition wasn't great and the age of the car being 13 years old. Meant that it had no modern technology And I had to rely on my phone in Google maps to get me home.
It drove well for the age of it and I got home safely and parked it up for the weekend. Ready for my trip to Norwich on Monday morning
A nice weekend awaits
