A busy day ahead two shortish jobs then a collection of a car for tomorrows early delivery.
Firstly I get the bus to Leighton Buzzard to the prep centre for another new Peugeot delivery to a customer. But not far away, as in Gerrards Cross. In fact it's only 37 miles. But once collected and the appraisal process done at the prep centre in Leighton Buzzard. The security man at the gate signs me out . I'm off across country roads and back routes to the customer.
I arrive in good time and it's a private house quite difficult to find. I call him and he tells me exactly where to go.
Another leasing company customer but he seems actually interested this time. And due to my helpfulness in showing him around the car and how it works. He's so pleased, he offers to take me to Gerrards Cross station. Brilliant news.
From there the train I need goes into London and then south to South Coulsdon again to the Kia Dealership to collect another car to go to Maidstone.
From Gerrards Cross. The train goes to Marylebone Station. Then Underground, or walk the pleasant 7 minutes to Baker Street

Underground. Jump on the Jubilee line to London bridge and then wait for the train going to Coulsdon South.

From Coulsdon South station its a five minute walk to the Kia site to collect the 2022 Kia Niro. Again the sales team don't make eye contact. Its like, if they look they are stuck down with some horrible curse. The "curse of the driver looking for a car" and having to do some work. Work, not considered important enough for them.
The car found and appraised and off we go down the A23, M25 to the M26 and M20 to Aylesford to deliver to Maidstone.

Arriving there 35 minutes later I get the same treatment until I can leave there and get a taxi. No Uber in this area. So an overpriced taxi. You know they are overcharging when you ask the question, "How much to West Malling" No Idea its on a meter comes the sniggering reply.
Come on please, whatever council is in charge of this area. drop the corruption of keeping your mates taxi firm in business and grant Uber a licence for the area.
Its only a 14 minute journey and costs £23. an equivalent Uber would have been £10 less at least. I arrive at the Suzuki Dealer to collect a 2015 Nissan X-Trail. going to Christchurch Near Bournemouth tomorrow. But for now it's back to the M20, M25 and right round it to the A41 and onwards home to Aylesbury.
