21st Jan 2025. Three Job day, Perfectly Executed

Today is a rare day. Not only 3 jobs, but the first car is going to exactly the same place as the collection of the second car Allen Ford in Swindon. Great planning. Thank you.

So the train from Aylesbury early to arrive at SMC Ford in Slough. Train arrived at Marylebone as usual, quite quiet from Aylesbury and building up the number of daily commuters as we get closer to London, by which time it's packed and made up of some sad looking individuals. looking like the world has really fucked them up. To the super hard working, on their laptops either because the work day isn't long enough for them or they are just trying to give that impression. I can also never understand the intellect of the person who while dressed for work, or in fact, just dressed, spends their journey playing a game on their phone which seems to entail either sliding coloured box's around. Or just looking at jumping colourful objects. Or the real intellectuals who are watching, non stop, very strange short videos of people dancing in front of their own phones. More of this later.

So to the tube (Metro, Underground) and a quick dash from Marylebone on the Metropolitan line to Paddington station and the Elizabeth line service to Reading, stopping after ten stops at Slough. Then coming out of Slough station walking along the A4 to the Ford dealer to collect a 2024 Honda Jazz automatic to drive out the A4 then M4 to Swindon.

Dropping the Honda off at Allen Ford Swindon and that rare luxury of collection of the second car, a 2017 Ford Focus from the same place, to take to Allen Ford Warwick. Where again I collect the third car, the MG above from a different dealer about 200 yards away, Arbury Peugeot to take back to my now regular customer just outside Aylesbury. And back home by the X5 bus service from there .
