A later start today. Due to the delivery of a Mercedes C300 to a retail customer in Crawley, who wanted the car delivered at lunchtime. So I walked to Mercedes Aylesbury and collected the car at 11.30. the car was ready to go and I quickly, but thoroughly finished the appraisal on the app I received the job from.

To be honest the cars from this place are always immaculate and rarely have anything to report on the appraisal.

Actually the drive to Crawley went very quickly. The anti clockwise M25 western section was quiet, thankfully.

I arrived around an hour and a half later and the customer was eagerly awaiting his new car. Delivery appraisal done and customer happy

Then I tried to find an Uber. Nothing! It was also showing over £25 . If I could get one.

I had another two jobs today and whilst in my mind I had planned it. I didn't plan on no Uber here.

Knowing I was going to Three Bridges station. I googled it and there was actually a direct bus service and it was due to arrive across the road and 50 meters away, now.

I legged it to the bus stop and the bus and I arrived at the same time. Result.

It was actually quicker than Uber had said to do the journey and it was £3.00

I smugly enjoyed the 10 minutes trip. Knowing that had I got an Uber. I would have been over£20 worse off.

Ticket already bought from Three Bridges to Shepperton, my next destination. The train went to Clapham junction first. Then a quick change .

The Shepperton train was on the next platform. So no need to go down to the tunnel and find another one of the many, actually 17 platforms here.

The train to Shepperton was a slow one but I arrived at around 2.50pm and it was a short walk to the MG dealer to collect the next car. Another Ford Puma. Going again to Leighton Buzzard. And hopefully in time for collection of my car for tomorrow.🤞🏻

Luckily the guys at MG were brilliant and got the car quickly. Appraisal done an hourd away. Back out to the M25 and clockwise around to the M1 and North to Dunstable junction and the short journey to LU7.

Just arriving in time for the jobsworth security man but actually 18 minutes before, for some reason they close for Motability only at 5pm. Everyone else it's later I think.

He told me to take it straight through the doors and through the new appraisal tool. A million pounds worth of digital imaging where you simply drive the car through and it not only images the car for sale. But also shows any damage instantly. An incredible development.

They quickly found my next car a Ford Kuga this time. Going to. You guessed it Eastbourne again to the same dealer group as yesterday.

Today went like clockwork and it could have gone horribly wrong at any point.

I was now ready for tomorrow and had a good earning day and an easy quick job finishing tomorrow at 9.00am
