Another return job today means that public transport and more importantly, the cost involved is saved. After travelling on the weekend trains on Saturday it's pleasing to have a rest. I really enjoy travelling by train. It's only people that spoil it. Especially the weekend drunken loud ones.
The sun has been shining now for a few weeks. More than off. This is what I prefer. After two years of what seemed like non stop rain this is more like it. I love the spring sunshine. Long may it continue.
Today was taking the car collected on Saturday afternoon. A red Vauxhall Corsa E . Fully charged on collection it made the journey easier as no searching for charging points.

This is a part of the job I actually don't mind. Planning is the key both for time and places to charge. Only really made difficult by the jobs that you have to bear the cost yourself. This is because you will look for the cheapest option. Don't forget this rule when doing this.
Cheap is slow more expensive is fast. It's your decision which route to take on this.
I usually take the fastest option. Just because I value my time at home. Maybe you don't 😁
It also gives you a little time to think about nothing for once. Which can help.
This journey today was to Heywood. North of Manchester. Delivery of their new car. I really like this part of the job. You get to see the happy customer. Mostly happy, anyway.
This was an easy exchange of one car for another. So a quick appraisal and signature from the customer along with the paperwork that required signature's for the dealership. Usually an order form, compliance documents and handover sheets. Now also, if the customer has never seen or visited the showroom. You need to get distance sale forms signed.
A quick appraisal of the part exchange and I was on the way back to Aylesbury. Via the M60-M62 and M6 southbound. Usually using the M6 toll which speeds things up to get to the M42 and onto the M40 to London. Yes, I could save £9.60 or whatever but I think it's well worth it.
Exiting at Bicester and the A41 towards Aylesbury. Dropping off the part exchange and paperwork getting my signature on the appraisal..
Why do they never look at the car??
Home around 15.00. Coffee and relax by sending invoices.
Job done.
