10th July 25

Another day heading to Leighton Buzzard to the prep centre to collect another new Peugeot 2008 for delivery to a customer. This time to Bristol.

Appraisal done and as usual the car had no fuel and needed cleaning. Luckily this company I get the job from, repays any fuel and cleaning costs. This portal even covers your insurance. So if you want to start this work, joining this portal, while not easy, is the most cost effective way to get started.

There's a few ways to go West towards Bristol from Leighton Buzzard. I usually choose the route through Oxford. Which requires knowing the busy times to avoid.

Arrived at the customer who was happy with the car and signed my paperwork which I scanned onto the portal and left to summon an Uber to Bristol Parkway Station. Not too far away.

From there I was getting a train to Newport to collect a Ford Kuga from Motorpoint trade centre.

You can travel direct but saving £5 you simply change at Filton Abbeywood station. It still takes only 50 minutes.

It's over an hour's walk from the station so knowing how cheap Uber is in this part of the world I clicked for an Uber and seven minutes and £4 later I was travelling to the trade centre.

Where I apparently needed a release code for the car..not on my instructions.

A phone call later I was sorted and they brought the car round. It was a blistering hot day and even I, had to standing the shade while I waited. Car appraised while engine running to get the air-conditioning on cold.

And soon heading back to the M4 and eastbound towards home

Goodbye Wales
