24th January 26. Saturday in Sheerness

Another job on a Saturday for one of my customers, who I hate letting down.

I collected the car last night to enable an early start. Which I have to be honest, on a Saturday I really enjoy.

At the moment I'm happy to oblige. Being alone at home as my wife is back in Brazil to see to business for a few months.

Doing these extra weekend jobs gets me out and stops me sitting at home looking for things to do.

Collecting the car last night the battery was flat. But I drove it around to charge it up and fuelled it ready for today.

I was delivering a 2016 Kia Sorrento to a retail customer in Sheerness Kent.

A place I had never been to. It was a beautiful sunny day so I was looking forward to seeing somewhere different.

The drive to Sheerness was one hour forty five minutes. So not quite as long as Google maps says.

And I arrived at the customers house around 9.00am after having called ahead 20 minutes ago.

After handover and appraisal done. It was a short walk to the station and in plenty of time for the train via, Sittingbourne,

A quick walk up some steps took in a coastal view you couldn't see due to the wall along the road
