Having got to the station a little later than I thought. I had missed the train I wanted. But there was a lovely little cafe and the breakfast option was too good to miss.

It was also great value and there were small, medium and large options. The small was more than enough for me. With toast and a great cup of tea.
I was going to Lincoln to collect an Audi Q3 going on to my customer in Oxford.
The train went to York, I had a short wait so a few photos and look for the next train.

From York it was a London Kings Cross train, getting off at Retford and a short wait for the train to Lincoln.

Outside Lincoln station was this statue of George Boole. I had honestly not heard of him but the brief profile of him as the "Grandfather of the digital age"

He never went to university. But became a teacher at 16. He went on to start his own school and wan a great mathematician. His books on the Algebra of logic. Were the works on the ' logic gates ' are still the basis of how microprocessors work today.
You live and learn.
Unfortunately at school, I didn't. Not Mathematics anyway. Don't get me wrong I can analyse a set of accounts now and tell you where a department or business is going wrong, or right. But Algebra? I just never got that one spark, at the beginning that made it make sense. The next two years I haven't a clue how I got through. Had I had a teacher in maths like Miss Smith. I might have listened from the start.
Anyway, Lincoln. Sorry.
Unfortunately I only got to see that massive cathedral in Lincoln from the window of my Uber.

But the Uber got me to the independent car dealer, from where I was collecting an Audi Q2 for my return home. It was going to Oxford. But I decided to go home and deliver it tomorrow morning.
The dealer was great. Sorting the car quickly and I did my appraisal and photos and set off on the drive.

The car was is amazing condition and unmarked so I sent of my digital appraisal to the buyer .

We use an amazing workflow app and have designed our own appraisal forms using it. These record the time and date and all the driver and vehicle details . With sections to record the things the car should have. And of course any damage..
These appraisals are vital to protect yourself from getting into trouble and costing you money.
This whole workflow app is available to you if you join our programs here
Lincoln to Aylesbury is around 3 hours but the first leg is a slow A road trip.

Arriving back at Aylesbury around 19.00 was a long day. Having started at 5.30am
But the day was worth it to drive that BMW M2.
I'll sleep tonight.
